Kappa has shown me the real strength of friendship and lasting connections. From KKG Delta Rho to now, meeting up each year at Ole Miss or around the country keeps our bond solid and real. It’s less about just memories and more about friends who’ve been by my side through every stage.
Favorite Memory? “Days in the house with roommates and friends!!!”
Kappa Settings held every other Spring is her favorite event with gorgeous tablescapes.
She has too many memories to many to name. “My collegiate days were a blast thanks to KKG”
Favorite Event? “I like the holiday party. So festive in always such a beautiful home.”
I love that Kappa has carried me on through the years. First it was the friendships I made at UT that remain strong now. A large group of us from our pledge class still get together after all these years! Another lovely part is the women that come together in Austin on the Alumnae board and at events from all different chapters all for the love of Kappa. I feel so fortunate that the decision I made when I was young was one of the best decisions of my life.
I loved my Kappa experience at Southern Methodist University. All of my best college memories are with my Kappa girls and these are some of my strongest friendships even after college. No matter where I’ve lived around the country there always seem to be a Kappa sister nearby who wants to reconnect continue making fun memories. My Kappa community is one of my favorite groups to be apart of.
“My favorite event is Kappa Kocktails! I love trying new places around town and getting to explore Austin with friends.”
Kappa was a truly meaningful chapter in my life, where I had the privilege of meeting smart, kind, and thoughtful women. For three years, it was my home away from home. Now, as an alumna, my hope is to support current Kappas throughout their college journey, helping them build confidence and foster personal growth.
Favorite memory?“Going to the Kappa Formals at the Peabody in Memphis, the last one was with my sister Krista who pledged Kappa my senior year”
Favorite Event? “The pilgrimage to Houston this year has been my favorite event of the year! Such beautiful homes and enjoyed spending the day with Kappas.”
“I love sharing Kappa with my mom and two daughters; sharing a sisterhood with them is truly special and something I will cherish for a lifetime.” Catch Marty at all of the upcoming events
“There's no way to pick just one (Kappa) memory! The pictures I shared are from my days as a Kappa Picker at Mizzou and "in the web" at Leadership Academy 2007. My memories combine to make a beautiful quilt -- college days in the Theta Chapter Kappa House, Beta Xi Chapter Advisor, House Board and Austin AA Board! Add numerous Fraternity positions, learning new skills and pushing myself to do things that I might not ever had the opportunity to do outside of Kappa. Include the friendships, sisterhood, Conventions, meetings, gatherings and training to the quilt but don't finish it off because there's always another piece to be added!”
Favorite Event? Holiday Coffee - “Seeing Kappas and their "kin" gather together to celebrate the season and see the changes from year to year as the children grow”
